A sweet Sunday stretch led by Wendy Campbell. Beginners to seasoned practitioners welcome. Don’t worry if you are new to yoga, this is a great time to start. You will be skillfully led and cared for through movement, breathing practices and meditative practices that will enhance your quality of life. There is a yoga practice that is accessible for EVERYBODY, yoga helps us to know ourselves and what we need. Participants are encouraged to take what what is useful and leave the rest behind.

This calming yoga class will help yop to reduce streess and provides a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all. You will gain balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion and mediation techniques.

If you are interested in getting some fresh air and meeting new people, NPAA offers Bocce every Friday at 10 AM.

This is one of our newer activities and we can add additional times to the schedule if there is interest. Let us know if you want to play Friday or any other time. Bocce is free to members and that’s hard to beat!

Kung Fu/Self-Defense for Kids, the Young Warriors program of White Dragon Martial Arts, provides children with a safe and structured environment to learn martial arts, including the ancient art of Kung Fu.  In addition to traditional forms, children learn practical self-defense and discipline that they can apply every day.  They learn the value of teamwork and make valuable life-long friendships as well.

This program is directed by Sifu Pedro Pineiro, a certified martial arts instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience.  Classes are Monday and Wednesday, 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

The cost for three months of lessons is only $160.  Please let your friends and relatives with children know about this program.

For more information, contact Pedro at 239-601-4376 or Pai_Lum2@yahoo.com

Cards & Games

Come to our regularly scheduled Bridge game on Mondays and Thursday at 1 PM. It is only $1.50 for members and $2.50 for nonmembers. There are cash prizes for every table. Members also meet on Thursday afternoons and Tuesday nights and play for free. Please call Nina at 566-7262 so that she can plan the tables.

Many of us are drawn to the game of Mah Jongg because of the beautiful tiles, racks, and boxes, and the wonderful mental exercise. And how we treasure the friendships formed around the table!

All levels of game play, come join the fun! On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays it is only $1 for members and $2 for nonmembers. Tuesday evenings are members only and free. Players bring their own NMJL Card. Our loss limit: members play with $2 in coins to pay successful Mah Jongg. Once you run out of money you are allowed to continue playing at no cost. (This is called the pie or “purse is empty.”) If you win, you then begin paying again.

Classes are held weekly. To reserve your seat

NPAA offers you a variety of games.
This night is for members only and it is FREE.
Bring your own game or schedule to play Mah Jongg or Bridge.
